Health professionals

As specialists in palliative care, St Richard’s Hospice aims to support the wider health community in their understanding of the clinical and psychological procedures that enhance this care.  The Education Team not only works to provide robust training and development to its own staff, but offers courses and training to the wider health economy across Worcestershire.

With an aim to ensure that the understanding of good end of life and palliative care is part of every health practitioner’s skill set, we provided education to many of our health and social care colleagues.  These include our local NHS Trusts, Care Homes, Ambulance Service, Prisons and organisations and charities that work with people who may require this kind of care.

Upcoming courses can be accessed and booked via the website as available, but in addition we aim to be as bespoke and proactive to our health colleagues education needs as possible.  We are happy to listen to individual requirements and work with colleagues to build the education programme that suits the needs, and meets the requirements, of the workforce delivering that care.
